Get your systems and applications talking — so you don’t have to do it manually.
90-day prototype -->It’s no secret: the majority of businesses today have a cobbled-together combination of old/outdated systems, newer applications and third-party/vendor systems that live outside of their environment (please pass the Tylenol!). With so many disparate tools, it's difficult to modernize your business and get access to needed data. That’s where we come in.
We can help you create the connective tissue between your systems through things like APIs, data mapping, custom applications, and custom UIs. However your systems need to be connected, upgraded, or synched, RevUnit has the expertise and experience. No tech chaos is too much for us.
RevUnit builds APIs as part of our integration work to best connect the functionality of softwares through well-defined data structures. We use data mapping to simplify the process of exporting data for easier grouping and analysis.
In addition to building APIs and mapping data, we often build custom applications or custom front-ends/a UI layer in order to connect disparate systems for a particular business use.
System and application integration is the process of getting all systems, new and old, to communicate and work together. The integration is accomplished by creating, building, or designing an information data system through custom or packaged software and APIs. The result is improved quality of operations and productivity for most or all of the organization.
API stands for Application Programming Interface. An API is a part of the remote server that sends and requests information. You can think of APIs as the “go-between” for software programs, allowing the programs – related or not – to talk to one another and to access features and services as needed.
Data mapping is just as it sounds: it takes complex and estranged data sets and maps them into one cohesive and compatible data set. It makes sense of the route to get to the correct data destination. When data mapping, the factors considered include the volume of data, data hierarchy, number of data sets, number of schemas, and more. Importantly, data mapping must occur for data integration to be possible.
